It has been started suppliers’ second competition for supplying ATM IMT 2000 repeater to KTiCOM. KTiCOM selected three suppliers (Finedigital, Solid Technologies, Eastel Systems) for the preferred negotiation companies which passed the first BMT in February. KTiCOM has begun the second BMT on Oct. 8 and this BMT will last for a week.
The second BMT will be continued until Oct. 14. After passed suppliers are announced by KTiCOM, the price tender will begin with existing passed suppliers & newly passed suppliers.
More than ten companies which didn’t passed the first BMT (Newwave, Nextlink, Sourcetel, Seohwa Telecom, Youngwoo Telecom, Ace Technologies, MTI, Withus, JAS, High Gain Anttena, etc.) are going to participate in this BMT, and fierce competition is expected.
In consideration for the unofficial BMT in September, this BMT is actually the third BMT, and it can be the final BMT. Suppliers are therefore expected to devote all their energy for this BMT.
KTiCOM selected Eastel Systems for preferred negotiation company in microwave repeater section in February. No suppliers passed the second BMT last week, and KTiCOM is considering an extra BMT.
